It looked like Sandy in my garage after the big sale on Saturday. It was quite a successful day and I plan on doing it again this spring, with the first signs of warm weather. Or maybe even this winter, if I ever get my house in a shape where I would want people to see it. I'm laughing because that will probably never happen.
The sale opened at 8. I said no early birds and I even posted a sign that said I wouldn't open the garage until 8, which meant there was a line of about 10 or 15 people waiting to get in as soon as my doors opened. It was like opening the doors to a department sale on Black Friday. I could not believe people. Elbow to elbow and kinda pushing each other to get to my stuff, while I heard squeals of delight, "her prices are so great!" I stood in the driveway and watched as people dug through my stuff and made piles on the driveway.
Thought I'd show some before pictures. There's really not much after, as most of it is gone. Which is why my main etsy shop is so sad looking. But, now I have even more money to buy more goodies!
Even though both had NFS tags, I can't believe how many folks wanted my chippy blue shelf and old rusty bar cart. |
Have a great Tuesday!
