I'm Leavin' on a Jet Plane...

So I've been buying up vintage suitcases, train cases, etc like a mad woman lately.  They do have a certain appeal, however I think my house is officially out of room.  Thought you'd like to take a look at some of the lovelies.  I have posted them to my ebay store.

"Travel Joy"

Samsonite with initials MLC

"Blandon"

"Belber"

"J.C. Higgins"

"Feather Lite"

You get a peek at my semi flooded, but freshly mowed bush-hogged (is that really a word?  some of you will know what I'm talking about) back yard.  If these puppies don't sell, I'm totally making the suitcase shelves out of them.  Well, at least the big ones.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.  I've been catching up on sleep and it felt good!

It Was Worth It! (Part 2)

Also known as "All the Christmas Crap I Bought on St. Patrick's Day."  Sorry this has taken so long to post, but life gets in the way sometimes.  Without further ado let me introduce...

1953

I really didn't think this post needed much explaining.  I  would like to add that a few of these things have been picked up at the thrift stores over the last few weeks.  It still doesn't make my St. Patty's day haul any less awesome.  It can only be topped one other time when I bought about 30 boxes of Shiny Brites home from an auction.

Everyone have a great week and remember it is never too late or early to buy vintage Christmas!
