I also got to visit a new to me antique mall in Centerville, Indiana. It is along what is known as "Antique Alley." Here's a few things I came home with:
I always look extra hard in the booths that have sales. I got some great deals. 2 pieces of pyrex... yes, they both need lids, but the one had the cradle, which was cool. The mug is unmarked, but I love the colors. Couldn't pass on the tart tins at 75% off! The large spring blossom plates will go in my kitchen because I only had a few of this size. The ornaments were a no-brainer for me. The Bugs Bunny glass will be added to the swanky swigs and other glasses for sale in my booth, as will this Polaroid camera with original box. I am obsessed with buying these old postcards lately because they're selling like hotcakes for me in my booth!
So I had remodeled my booth a bit last weekend, but didn't have time for pictures before heading out. I did manage to snap some while I was there on Friday after work. You already saw the new front display here.
The more I look at those ugly brown bookcases, the more I realize they need a makeover soon. I'm thinking some vintage wallpaper for the back and some pretty fabrics for the shelves. I'm also thinking of what would be a great way to add some different heights to some of the shelves... since I only have so many shelves to work with. AND, I finally have an idea for the ugly roof support beam in my booth... details to come soon!
Have a wonderful week!
