Hey all! I'm back to blogland after a little hiatus from getting married. I am here today to share my finds with you from when I went to the Covered Bridge Festival on Saturday, October 10th.
But first... let me share a few shots with you that friends took at our wedding!
The photo booth I created. My photographer took every family photo, so that I can send one in each thank you card.
The back view of my wedding dress in the photo booth.
My friend Sarah made us this beautiful wedding cake. The topper is vintage and I picked it up this past summer. Not sure if it will go back into the wild or not, but the cake plate already has!
Me and my matron of honor/best friend right before the wedding.
My dad walking me down the aisle.
We did it!!
Me and my flower girl
My husband and his gang.

Now here's my finds that I finally had time to photograph yesterday!
One of my favorite finds in awhile. I bought this collection of mammys/pappys from an older woman looking to downsize her collection.
A few odds and ends. This jadeite vase was still in the vendor's booth at the end of the day on Saturday and it was only FOUR DOLLARS. I'm really surprised it was still there.
I bought this collection of West Virginia Glass/Blendo glasses. So many pretties.
I was tempted to keep the kelly green Fire King mugs for myself. They're in mint condition. The older woman I bought them from said she got these all as a gift and had maybe only used them a few times.
Some birdy chalkware. Unfortunately right after this picture the bluebird with the top hat got broken. Bummer.
I love weird souvenir glasses.
Can you believe I bought all this aluminum from one person... for TEN DOLLARS. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I walked away quickly before they realized how great of a deal they gave me.
I always pick up old license plates when I find them for cheap. The one in the bottom left is from 1927!
It's always a good day when you find pink Pyrex. I was REALLY really tempted to keep the green fired-on McKee measuring cup. I've never seen one in person before!
That's it for this week! Can't wait to get back to my regular junkin' adventures.
Speaking of junkin' adventures... I plan to start broadcasting some on Periscope. If you aren't on periscope, join immediately. It's too much fun!
Melissa, I love your wedding pictures! Your weather was perfect, your dress gorgeous (not to mention your hair!!), and you looked stunning. What memories you created and lived!
ReplyDeleteCool stuff. I like the mammys/pappys. And even though we don't do glass for the most part, I do like the Blendo for some odd reason. The aluminum reminds me of growing up, and what a deal.
