Indiana 38 Yard Sale

It's that time of year again where the long yard sale routes are starting up!  We had our first one in Indiana this past Saturday.  I have found quite a few goodies in years past (2016, 2015, 2014)

First up: I bought this large collection of beer cans from someone.  I've had good luck selling these in the past.

It's hard to tell - but the stamp is a Pure Truck Stop logo.

I bought another collection of silverware trays.  I want to keep one of the green ones.  Which is your favorite?

I bought this collection of pencil tins.

It was a little dark by the time I was able to get pictures.

Ugh, this Ford sign!  It's part of an old tailgate.

I love these extra large locker baskets!

Well, that's it for now!

We close on our new house Friday!
My next junking adventure will be the US40 Yard Sale!

In more somber news, my dog Lacy, after 15 years with my family, passed on May 4th.  It has been tough and we've missed her a lot.  But, we're very thankful for all the time we had with her and the unconditional love she showed us.

Until next time!
Melissa

  1. So sorry about your Lacy's passing, Melissa. You definitely came away with some more neat stuff - always in big bundles! I like the green flatware tray with the arrow-like designs. The pencil tins are cool.

  4. Gosh, I'm sorry about your beloved Lacy. Dogs bring us such wonderful unconditional love, it is hard when we lose them.

You found some great stuff. My Mom actually had a set of the Sierra Ware mugs (the colored glass with wood handles). Just seeing them again brings back memories.

  5. I'm so sorry to hear about Lacy. They touch our hearts and make life so much better. You were blessed to have her for 15 years! You definitely need time to heal. But don't wait five years like I did to get another precious pooch.

Congrats on closing! I LOVE your garage. And having five acres - nice bonus!
