Stanley Upholstery

I have LOTS of great finds to share with you guys from the last couple of weeks.  However, the nice weather has really got me spending all my other free time (what's that?) outside and not taking pictures and adding them to my blog OR listing them to my etsy or ebay shops!

Check out this AMAZING sign I got 2 weekends ago.  It's going to be hung in the barn at my parent's farm.

Also, this sign set me back only $5.  Its about 10 feet by 3 feet too.  And... it happens to contain my family's last name.

Anyone else score some amazing finds lately?

The Woodruff Place Flea Market

This past weekend was the annual Woodruff Place Flea Market.  It is held in a historic neighborhood that is just east of bustling downtown Indianapolis.  You never know what you're going to find at Woodruff, because the people who live here are ever changing.  There are a few old houses that were turned into apartments.  Several folks also rent out bedrooms, etc.  From 87 year old woman to 23 year old hipster, the crowd is definitely interesting.  I just thought I'd share some of the photos of the neighborhood, which is only 3 streets wide by about 3 blocks long (the blocks in Indy are not quite a tenth of a mile).

The streets are divided by a grass knoll that goes down the center.
There are tons of fountains.

And lots of random statues.

The streets are lined with the cool old stone walk/railing.

People paint their houses some interesting colors.

Some have some very ornate parts.

Hydrangas are EVERYWHERE!

Big scary old houses.

A little history.

What do you think of this yellow and purple combo?

Thanks for taking a peak at this beautiful neighborhood.  I'll share my finds in a later post!
