This weekend was busy, busy, busy! Saturday I went to class for 4 hours in the morning. Afterwards I went to freshen up my antique booth. I didn't take any pictures, because I was way too frustrated. I had a pair of large Hazel Atlas milk glass salt and pepper shakers with red bands (you can see them in
this post in the cabinet with the glass doors)
STOLEN from my booth! I reported this to the manager of the mall. They are supposedly having someone check all of the booths and other booth's sale tickets, to make sure they didn't end up on their sale list instead of mine. I am so frustrated because I was told that theft was NOT a problem at all. They have 5+ people always walking every part of the store and they have cameras everywhere.
Has this happened to you? How do you deal with shoplifters? Any advice on the matter, would be great. I'm just so frustrated and extremely disappointed with the situation. It is really making me rethink the mall I chose for my space.
I cooled off and went straight to Indy's Irish Fest - aka Half Way to St. Patty's Day with the bf! We drank several mugs of Guiness and ate some delicious fish and chips from one of the local Irish restaurants. That really helped me get over the loss of my beautiful S&P shakers.
My mom attended an auction Saturday with her sister and supposedely spent a good portion of my money - so I can't wait to see what she bought for me! She's coming over this evening - so I hope to share it with you this week.
Sunday I drove about an hour to a HUGE auction in Tipton, Indiana. I was there for about 7 hours total. I came away with some good stuff... (and pardon my crappy cell phone pics - I need a new digital camera - you can even see my finger in one!)
