Covered Bridge Festival Finds

For me the Covered Bridge Festival marks the beginning of fall every year... even though it technically happens about 3 weeks prior.  I get to drive down tree-lined highways that are usually brilliant reds, oranges, and yellows.  While I don't actually go to the festival itself, because I'm not a fan of battling thousands of people, I do attend all of the garage sales up and down the highways leading into and around the festival towns of Bridgeton, Mansfield, and Rockville, Indiana.  Trust me, those hundred or more sales was enough to keep me busy BOTH Saturday and today (Sunday).  And I definitely didn't even hit them all.

So let's get to the good stuff...

Saturday's finds:

the whole shebang

pretty, pretty Pyrex

milk glass (and plastic) spice shakers & more Pyrex

vintage Halloween goodies...

the haul of vintage Christmas & milk glass vases

Can't pass up a cute milk glass bud vase when they're only a nickel or a dime.

Today's (Sunday's) finds:

the haul

HA creamer/sugar, Hoosier cabinet spice jars, cake carrier,
& a full set FK fridge dishes

It's a toss up for the best valued find... I'd say either the Hoosier cabinet spice jars or the full set of FK fridge dishes.

Foley aqua handle sifter, aqua handle syrup dispenser,
(I BELIEVE) a HA mixing bowl, Owens Illinois shaker,
and the only Pyrex for the day.
DISCLAIMER: I only bought this ugly Early American divided casserole because it was a) cheap and b) I needed the lid for a more desirable divided casserole.  Also, mom bought me the full bowl set last week for a song.  Figured I'd throw it all together.

Sir Walter Raleigh tins, Robin Hood Flour recipe box, a lone
Lustreware shaker, 2 red handle syrup dispensers, 2 FK
2 Pyrex, and Glasbake mugs, pack of santah ead cupcake
toppers, and vintage Valentine's Day cards.

I had to add in another holiday to this weekends finds.

So, all in all, I had an AWESOME weekend full of great finds and quality time with mom.

In other news... I'm headed across the pond in 2 days... Dublin and London, watch out!  Hoping to do a little hunting while I'm there!
