Hi all! I'm keepin' the blog tour rollin' this week.
I was invited by Donna @ Distressed Donna Down Home.
Here's her take on the blog tour.
Donna's blog is one I've picked up reading in the past year. I think I found her by looking through links at a link up party. For the life of me, I can't remember which one. I've really enjoyed her posts. I always get a good laugh and plenty of inspiration.
She's a lover of vintage linens and textiles. Just like me.
She is the tag queen of blogland. I wish I were this crafty!
She has been making beautiful baskets lately too.
And my favorite thing: when she brings home truckloads of vintage goodies.
Just like me.
This is where I'm doing things a little different. I want to introduce you to a few blogs I've been reading for years. These few blogs inspired me to start me own blog and really get my business going. And if you don't know these lovely ladies yet, you definitely want to go read their blogs.

Now onto a little about me.
I'm supposed to answer these 4 questions:
1. What are you working on right now?
I've been working on setting up my new booth space since the beginning of August.
So far it's a little XXX-rated.
I've been trying to source some new display pieces to make it interesting.
Just picked this up in Nashville this past weekend.
And this the weekend before.
This awesome enamel-top table at a last minute auction a couple weekends ago.
And these 2 MCM pieces at an estate sale in July.
2. How does your work differ from others of its genre?
Well, a lot of folks do the whole buy-sell vintage goods thing.
But, it may be safe to say a lot of them don't love vintage Christmas as much as I do.
I've sold it all via my holiday-only etsy shop.
And I've attempted to write a Shiny Brite encyclopedia.
I'm also a little on the younger end of the spectrum.
I started the buy-sell back in 2009 at the age of 22.
I'll be 28 this December, and I've learned a lot in my 6 years junkin.
3. Why do I write/create what I do?
I just love sharing my finds with like-minded people who appreciate it.
It's a little bit of an ego boost when others are jazzed about my buys.
This suitcase haul was one of those that you all were super jazzed about.
It's my most popular blog post to date.
4. How does your writing/creative process work?
I don't really have one.
I just write like I'm talking to a friend.
But I attempt to keep a filter on my fingers.
On a side note, I do host a blog link-up each week:
Well that's it, guys.
Have a good week.
