I thought for sure I wouldn't buy anything more before I left for my 3 week honeymoon... but I just couldn't resist! I saw something in the auction photos that I just had to have. I have been wanting one for ages for my booth...
Here she is in all of her glory, albeit a little rough around the edges. The top glass was loose, among needing a face lift, so I got a great deal on it! I love the bubble glass on the back doors.
I went to Home Depot to get some clear silicone caulk to seal the top glass back on. If you've ever been to Home Depot, you know that the caulk is next to the paint. I saw their chalk-finish paint samples. They were crazy pricey! But, they had these Behr samples next to them at a mere fraction of the price.
Here's the beautiful color I chose.
And here is it after I spent 6 hours refinishing it.
I also got a box of fun vintage crocheted pot holders and wash cloths
And these doilies.
These colorful vintage tins.
These vintage clocks.
And a few smalls.
Sunday, I want to rearrange my antique booth. I had to fit in my display case. I was able to get everything back in except my enamel top table. I really really like how it looks now. Is it possible to like my booth even more than I did before and I still have mostly the same stuff?

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!

Your booth looks like it is very big as you have so many items in there!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful honeymoon!
If a customer cannot find all her gifts in your booth, she must be crazy! Love the display cabinet. Be aware you will get an offer for it at least once a week. I need to rehab mine - it is getting way beyond shabby chic. Love the crochet and the vintage tins! Happy honey mooining!

Wow, you have a lot of stuff! And a lot of great stuff from what I can see! I love the clocks you picked up. I am hooked on collecting them now, not selling, so I always have my eye out for them.
