Costume Jewelry From a Family Friend

I was also very lucky to be able to dig through the LARGE costume jewelry collection of the relative of the family friend.  I picked all of these items...

Clip-on and screw back earrings, brooches, and sets.  Oh, and a Estee Lauder perfume in the bottom right corner.

More clip-on and screw back earrings.  One brooch in upper right hand corner.

Necklaces and a bracelet or two.

A little bit of everything.

Costume rings (minus the 1930s engagement ring from my husband's great grandmother.)

More costume rings.

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope to be back soon to share more finds.

From a Family Friend

I have a family friend that had a relative that passed recently.  The family didn't want to mess with an estate sale or auction.  So, they were nice enough to let me pay them for stuff I wanted.  The relative's house is a couple hours away, so they sent me pictures and I picked out stuff from there.  They brought me back several boxes of stuff.  I hope to make a trip out to the house soon to pick up some furniture and anything else that catches my eye.

Lots of miscellaneous kitchen items.  The family friend said she remembers drinking out of the aluminum glasses as a kid.

West Virginia (or Blendo) pitcher and cups

I have NO idea what this cutting board/spool combination thing is supposed to be.
Do any of you out there have any ideas?

More kitchen items.

I saw these in one of the pictures they sent me and I knew I had to have them.
They were full of nails, screws, etc.
It took a little elbow grease to pry off the lids to remove the contents.

I'll never pass up enamelware.

The Pyrex was left from my 127 haul.
I bought them without lids and had to find some from my stash

The cutest laundry bags ever!

Do I need a FOURTH aluminum Christmas tree?  No.
But will I ever turn one down?  No.
Especially if it has the original box, paper sleeves, and instructions.

Aren't those little deer S&P so stinkin cute?

I sell a lot of dresser sets.

I've got more from this haul to show you, but I'll save that for another post.
I know I'll also have more to show you after I visit the house.

Thanks for visiting!

My Finds from the 2016 127 World's Longest Yard Sale - Part 2

Hey guys!  I'm back to share the rest of my finds from my 127 yard sale trip.  You can peek at the rest of my buys HERE.  So much like last year, I bought more soda crates!  They're great sellers for me.

It's not in the best shape, but it's still perfect for farmhouse decor!

I can't get enough of these little metal bathroom shelves!
As soon as I put them in my booth they're gone.

I was SO excited to spy this set.  After a little negotiating, it was mine!
This isn't going anywhere but into my Hoosier cabinet!

Another couple buys for myself.
Added to my Hoosier cabinet.

I bought a bunch big and small pennants this year.
These three were keepers.
Indiana is my alma mater.
And my hubby collects vintage aviation stuff.

Vintage material, feedsacks, and THE CUTEST kittens riding a spaceship seersucker material.

Vintage cardboard hotdog holders.
And a never opened bag of trinkets!

I'm a sucker for vintage office supplies.
Especially ones in little boxes.

An up close shot of the new old stock paper parasols I showed you last week.
The pink and blue would be cute for a baby shower.

A stack of Homer Laughlin Riviera.
This is a pretty valuable pattern.
Unfortunately several are chipped.
Not bad for being 80-90 years old.

2 Fire King Sunrise Swirl plates

Does anyone know anything about this plate??
It's a clear plate with orange fired on color on bottom and black graphics on top.

5 Lu-Ray cups!

Okay, I think I got everything now!
Thanks for visiting!

Southside Booth August Update

After coming back with a huge haul from the world's longest yard sale... I had to visit both of my booths.  But, since I just expanded my southside booth, it needed more stuff to fill it.

Above is a overall shot of the original booth.  You can see one 2 of my lovely quickies here - the mint green shelf & quilt square bunting.

Next up, the new addition... Ah, it is starting to look so much better.  I brought a lot of the bigger items from my garage.

The rack holding the aprons here I bought back on the US40.  It is an old window shades (blinds) display.

Does anyone want suitcases?
I can't pass them up when they're cheap.
And they're literally piling up at my booth.
Self-imposed ban on suitcases for the rest of the year.

Thanks for stopping by to tour my booth!
Have a great weekend!
