Well, for awhile there I thought we were going to be homeless.
There were absolutely no houses on the market that we liked.
Then this beauty popped up.
It might have been love at first sight. Until we saw the inside.
It's not horrible. Just stuck in the late 80s.
I can fix that. I'll show you the inside as I fix it up.
I mean, think about all the junk I can store in here!!
And it came with 5.5 acres of this.
And fruit trees.
And some of this.
And a little of this.
More fruit trees.
Some pine trees.
Ahh, and the mini barn... also known as the soon-to-be chicken coop.
I know this is a deviation from my normal junkin' posts, but there will likely be a lack of those over the next month or so, due to this big move.
Thanks for visiting this week.
So many big changes are coming.
So buckle in for the ride.
Melissa

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Melissa, congratulations! What a fabulous piece of property. Those garage buildings! Do I see you hosting your very own pop-up sales in the future???
ReplyDeleteWOW! What a place to spread out! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteIf you live closed to anything, you could have an amazing garage sale, and lots of people would come!
I love the trees and the acreage. Fruit trees!!! Maybe making jam might be in order! {Or pies...you didn't say what kind of fruit.} You need to clone yourself to do all the wonderful things you could do!
I can't wait to see the inside of the house. And what you do to it.
Take care, and don't forget to breathe.
Wow - I was sold on the garage! It looks like fabulous property.
ReplyDeleteFabulous, congrats Melissa! Our home was very 1960 when we bought it, right down to the original knotty pine kitchen cabinets. You'll get there, one room at a time. Oh, I hope a few acres of your property is woods, we have 2 1/2 acres and it is quite a job to mow, mow, mow, lol.
ReplyDeleteYou sure could have some fab sales with your huge garage area. :)
Congratulations, Melissa! What a wonderful place. Can't wait to see what you do with it. Enjoy this special time in your life!
ReplyDelete5 acres, a huge garage/storage area, many beautiful trees. Who cares if the house is stuck in the '80s ~ that is easily fixed. It may have taken a while for you to find it, but it was worth the wait because you have a fabulous property! Wishing you a blessed Easter in your new home.
