Pre-127 Super Epic Yard Sale

I took a couple days off of work before I left for the 127 Yard Sale, which occurred last week.  I planned to just relax and run a few errands before leaving for 9 days of awesome junking -- pictures will come sometime soon.

Anyways, I was browsing Craigslist when I came across the title "Never Been Gone Through Estate 40 Years."  First, I cringed a little because of the grammar, but thought it may be worth my time to go.  Of course, I asked mom to tag along to be an extra set of hands!

Ladies and Gents, we were not disappointed.  In fact, it was one of those sales that you only happen upon once every few years.  Similar to this one I went to in early May.  How did I get to lucky to hit two in a few months time?

My view of the sale before it started.  Driveway full.  Garage full.  House full.  Screened in porch full.  Basement full (that they were selling the second weekend, which I missed).

I loaded up my van with all of this.

I wish I could've brought this - my new (used) trailer - but my plates hadn't arrived yet.

Anyways, let's take a look at what I got!

Guys, I love a good wood box.

Here's a beer one with a lid.

A few more here and one with a hinge.

It's hard to see, but there's a quiver of colorful arrows.  I've been really wanting to find some of those!  Also - that Tonka RV!!  And did you think there would be anyway I could resist picking up a Coke or 7up cooler??

An outside look of the big blue wood toolbox

Some with advertising and some plain ones I will add some of my new old stock fruit crate labels to!

It wouldn't be a good sale without bringing home a little Christmas!

You know I love finding bags of glass garland!

All these ornaments might be keepers.  I've wanted one of those little clip on mushrooms forever, but they're usually pretty expensive when you find them!

Lots of little toys to search through.  Was buying for the tootsie toys.

Still yet to sort through, but lots and lots of 1960s maps!

I love these chairs.  I bought myself one earlier this year.  And then I found 5 more hanging in the garage of this sale.

Thanks for visiting -- I'll be back soon to share my 127 buys!
